reports_Models-of-rural-development-imgThis report outlines in a step-by-step format the innovative approach to Rural Development which has been implemented successfully by the WDC across a number of sectors in the Western Region.  The Model is outlined through two case studies, one from the organic agrifood sector and the other from the rural tourism sector.  This report is intended as a practical reference guide for development practitioners, community groups and/or implementing agencies, who respect the principles of partnership, consultation and sustainable development and who wish to implement an innovative participatory and proactive Model of Rural Development.
