WDC at the Joint Oireachtas Committee on Arts, Heritage, Regional, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs

The WDC was invited to a hearing of the Joint Oireachtas Committee on Arts, Heritage, Regional, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs, on 26^t^h October 2016 where the Committee was considering the question ‘What it takes to sustain a viable rural community‘. WDC submission on the Creative Economy to the JOC on Jobs, Enterprise & Inovation

The WDC was invited to present to the Joint Oireachtas Committee on Jobs, Enterprise & Innovation on its work in developing the Creative Economy. On Tuesday 21st April, the WDC as well as NUI Galway, Teagasc, the Design & Crafts Council of Ireland and TG4 presented on the potential for job creation, innovation and balanced economic development in the creative sector.
